Surgical Services

Surgical Services are being provided by Dr. Susanne Levene at St. Aloisius Medical Center beginning July 24, 2008.

Dr. Levene will be seeing surgical patients in our Outpatient Service Center (previously the clinic building) the 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month.

Appointments can be made by calling:

324-4651 and ask for Dr. Levene's office,

or 324-4769 Extention 256 . . . Mary Prouty will be serving as Dr. Levene's nurse.

Dr. Susanne Levene is a Board Certified General Surgeon who performs a wide range of surgical procedures.  She performs surgeries involving the gastro-intestinal tract, appendix, gallbladder, breast,  thyroid, salivary glands as well as porta-cath placements to name a few.  She also manages trauma and other surgical emergencies and has been trained in mammographic needle localizations.

Dr. Levene received her medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, CO and finished her surgical residency training in Stockton, CA.  She has been practicing at the Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, ND, since June 2006.  She is always happy to see new patients.
